Girl : Dad, are you corrupt?

Father : No. The government is corrupt, the politicians and the police are corrupt. I’m not corrupt.

Girl : But I heard you ask the salesman to give you $100,000 to get your company to agree to the deal.

Father : That’s business. I’m a businessman.

Girl : Oh…. When is a businessman corrupt then?

Father : A businessman is corrupt if he asks the salesman for $200,000 and didn’t get his company to agree to the deal.

Girl : Isn’t that..... stealing?

Father : No, no. Stealing is when you take the $200,000 without asking.

Girl : So what’s business?

Father : Business is about making as much money as possible for yourself.

Girl : So why don’t you just print your own money?

Father : Oh, the neighbours are already doing that in their backyard. But that’s cheating. And cheating is wrong!
